Welcome to wifcon.asia, the first World in Flames Convention to be held in South East Asia.

We have chosen Pattaya, Thailand as the venue because of its proximity to a major transport hub (BKK airport), ease of travel (easy visa waiver and/or visa on arrival process), and it's cheap! We expect to have single occupancy room rates around USD $35 - USD $75 per night, and return flights no more than USD $700 depending on the part of the world that you're flying in from.

Although World in Flames will be a major focus of the convention, because of the strong boardgaming and table top wargaming community in Thailand and other parts of SE Asia, we are extending the convention to cover such games, including the more "heavy" Euro style games (think Euro style wargames such as Scythe), table top games, and we are hoping to have sponsors to run competitions and offer some prizes during the convention.
